Empire Swim School

Empire Swimming is excited to announce a new "learn to swim" program for children between the ages of
4-10 who are already water-safe and comfortable in deep water.  Classes will be conducted with a low swimmer to instructor ratio and will focus on building confidence in the water, while learning freestyle stroke technique with proper side breathing, as well as backstroke.

The swim school is a goal-oriented program with a goal of having each swimmer able to swim 25 yards of freestyle with proper breathing, as well as 25 yards of backstroke.  These are the requirements for consideration for the Torpedo level of the Empire Swim Team a natural next step after swim school "graduation!"

Session II  Nov. 2 - Dec. 21

Due to the popularity of the first session of the Empire Swim School, we are excited to announce that Empire Swim School is offering two class times for Session II.  Classes will meet once a week for eight weeks on Sundays from 9:30 – 10:00 AM or from 10:00 – 10:30 AM at the Hackley School, beginning November 2nd through December 21st.    

Session program fees of $200 per swimmer, are due upon registration.  Registration forms for Session II should be sent via email or via mail, postmarked no later than October 29th.  Class sizes are limited, and will be filled on a first come, first served bases.  All participants must be water safe and comfortable in deep water – evaluations will be held at the start of the first class to determine eligibility.
