Once again this year, Empire swimmers will "Swim Breaststroke for Breast Cancer" to support the team, while also helping to support local hospitals and their care of patients recovering from breast cancer treatment. Swimmers will be challenged to swim as many laps of breaststroke as possible, up to 200, during their scheduled time, and each group will have a small party at the end of their swim.
In conjunction with BFFL Co. (www.bfflco.com), local hospitals to receive support from this event will be Dobbs Ferry, Greenwich, and White Plains Hospitals. Complete event Information and pledge forms have been emailed to all families, and donations can also be made online at www.crowdrise.com/empirebs4bc. (Be sure to note swimmers name in comments.) Empire Family Fund is a 501(c)(3) organization, and all donations to "Swim Breaststroke for Breast Cancer" are fully tax deductible.
